1. Keep your talk under 3 minutes. (This is a must.)
2. Begin by stating your full name, classification and sponsor.
3. State why you joined Rotary.
4. Give your personal history. This might include:
· Where you were born
· Stories about your family
· Education
· Interesting events in your life
· Spouse & children
· Hobbies
5. Mention your business history - but keep it short.
6. State which committee(s) you have selected.
7. End by repeating your name, classification and sponsor.
8. If you would like some help or feedback:
· Write out your talk and time yourself, getting as close to
3 minutes as possible; and
· Watch the monthly calendar for group practice sessions; or
