Michael Morgan, the nationally acclaimed music director for 26 years of the Oakland Symphony, will tell us about state of the Oakland Symphony and touch on issues facing orchestras nationally. We will learn about Michael’s unique directorship, as he thrives on Beethoven and Brahms, but also views classical music as an art form on the move, mirroring its community.
