Orton Development is rehabbing the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center on the south side of Lake Merritt. Orton Development specializes in challenging large-scale projects that restore historic spaces.
Nick Orton joined Orton Development in January 2011. At ODI, he’s currently working on the Henry J. Kaiser Convenetion Center project and in the past has worked on the Rosie the Riveter Museum in Richmond, CA; 1440 Broadway, a historic office building in Downtown Oakland across from Frank Ogawa Plaza; and a variety of office and industrial projects in Indianapolis, Portland, Lisbon, and the greater Bay Area. Nick has a B.A. from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
