Dr. Michael McAfee, president and CEO of PolicyLink will talk about racial equity and the drivers of inequity in the region, which contribute to the problem of homelessness in Oakland. Participants will also be given time to have a dialogue with Dr. McAfee about opportunities they can take up in their role as members of the Oakland community. This will be the first in a series of programs focusing on various aspects of the homelessness crisis and what Oakland Rotary do to help address the challenge.
