Civic Thursday Meeting - Dean Erwin Chemerinsky - UC Berkeley School of Law - The State Of The US Supreme Court

Thursday, September 9th, 2021 - 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Don't miss our speaker on September 9: Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the law school at the University of California at Berkeley.  Dean Chemerinsky is one of the most renowned scholars of American Constitutional law, and is a keen observer of the personalities and the history of the United State Supreme Court.  What's that you say?  You're not a lawyer?  All the more reason to attend this meeting: Dean Chemerinsky has the unique ability to present the big picture, to explain the relevant legal currents and cross-currents, and tie all  these into the quirks, the biases and the visions of the justices who constitute the court.   Note:  Be sure to come early:  Dean Chemerinsky will begin his remarks at the early time of 12:35 PM.   And bring a friend ....
