CB Smith-Dahl began her career working as a production assistant, grip, and electrician on music videos and independent film & tv shows. Next, she advanced to entertainment & red carpet news - as a Writer/Producer and Camerawoman for Reel Hollywood and National Enquirer TV. Moving on to documentary, she was one of several Camera Operators on "900 Women" and "Angola Prison Rodeo," which was nominated for an Academy Award. She continues to work as a documentary Cinematographer while also Directing corporate videos. Together Pictures, Inc. is the third company she’s founded to house that work. She’s made movies for a wide range of clients: Subaru, Red Bay Coffee, SF Travel, Google, and the Port of Oakland. She’s known for having hired and mentored hundreds of diverse media makers.
